Ask any scientist ( evan your High school science teacher ) all of the real questions about the American goals in space . Many never question the most basic of the so called space mission issues .
#1. What is the total absolute number of human beings that will ever be able to live in "space or off planet ?
#2 What is the total amount in money fuel ,food what ever of the Innumerable materials required to maintain that life .
#3 How much time will it take to place our resources wherever ?
Based on Fuel and Weight costs what is the total cost of the maximum number of humans that can ever be deployed ( in any possible future )
in permanent habitat in living quarters off earth in outer space or on a
moon r a “ better planet ” ?
#4 What does that mean to majority of human beings left on earth
with less resources and no means of “escape”?
One answer is :
Number of human beings = 1000
Fuel cost = All available matter .
Time line = 100 years starting now!
So why did this space race continue even though most of the
word population ( 80 % live in poverty) when they could be fed housed educated and contributing if freed from debt ?
Why in deed?

Got no iPhone? Check out the other options
Congratulations. You survived the iPhone hype. Sure, a couple of shirts wound up ruined with drool stains, and the Apple store is threatening to take out a restraining order. But otherwise, the damage is minimal, and now, with time to breathe and $600 comfortably earning interest, reasons not to buy the iPhone are starting to gain credence. Most likely, the reasons are practical more than aesthetic, because arguably the iPhone is the most sophisticated, innovative and sleek cell phone to debut on American soil in possibly years. However, it is also a phone that lacks the ability to sync with Outlook, will not sync with the iCal To Do list, and does not offer GPS tracking, despite its Google Maps application. The biggest obstacle for many people, however, may be the fact that it is only offered through AT&T. Switching networks, in many cases, is not a cheap or simple option, making the iPhone a nonstarter. So for those who cannot realistically get an iPhone but have caught the bug for some sort of a new phone, the Deseret Morning News consumer team (OK, me) hit the streets to see what other carriers may offer for a variety of users. There is one caveat: In almost all of the stores, sales staff and customers alike all agreed that there is really nothing comparable to the iPhone, although there are options to satiate the appetite for new cell phone technology that the iPhone created.
Business chic For the hard-core business users who live on e-mail and need a virtual office, the best phone is probably their current BlackBerry or Treo, at least until the WiFi enabled BlackBerry becomes readily available. But for the business user who also likes to carry the latest technology, almost every carrier has options. At Connected Wireless in The Gateway, manager John Morrison pointed to the HTC Pocket PC 6800. It runs Windows Mobile, provides all of the options of a PDA, and users can play music or watch videos on Windows Media Player. It also has WiFi options and is available for Sprint or Qwest users at a $299 price tag.
Another Qwest or Sprint option is the MotoQ, a slim smart phone with a keyboard, multimedia player and an Internet browser. An added attraction for this phone is the relatively low $150 price tag, which is equal to entry-level Blackberry phones.
Bob Kelley, a spokesman for Verizon Wireless, pointed to its "vast array" of smart phones and the company's coverage, which is generally considered the best in the country. As for the iPhone, he said it is simply AT&T's "latest attempt to stay competitive" but is not something that is overtly concerning to the carrier.
http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,695196391,00.html One phone that is not in Verizon's retail stores but should garner some attention from business users is the PN-820, a flip phone that runs Windows Mobile and has most of the capabilities of other smart phones. The best part is the $150 price tag, although any wireless Internet and e-mail access requires an additional $45 per month for access to the Verizon data network. T-Mobile users also have unique options, most notably the T-Mobile Wing. It has a pull-out keyboard, multiple viewing options and Windows Mobile all packed into a relatively compact design. It carries a $299 price tag.
Campus buzz It's a given that most high school and college students will want the iPhone, and come Christmas many of them could end up with one. But for those not lucky (or spoiled) enough, there are options that will meet their needs for a phone they can use for rapid text messaging, music storage and accessorizing.
Even better, at least from a parental standpoint, is that all of these phones, or at least the base model, can be purchased for under $100 after rebates and the standard extended service contracts.
At the top of the list is still the LG Chocolate, available through Verizon. The carrier continues to put out new colors for the phone that features a slide-down dialing keypad and music player.
T-Mobile has the Sidekick, which is one of the best messaging phones even if it is not the slimmest, most stylish option. But its popularity with celebrities and a reasonable price tag makes it an attractive alternative for many teenagers.
Qwest spokesman Gary Younger pointed to the flip phone Samsung M500, which has multimedia options, an Internet browser and an MP3 player. Potentially its best option, however, is one that allows callers to leave a voice message that is translated to a text message. Slim phones, such as the Motorola RAZR and SLVR or the Samsung MM-A900, also remain popular for their style. Some versions of these phones are available from just about every carrier, and most of them also come with cameras and music players.
Parental pride Often forgotten in the cell phone wars are parents, especially the 30-somethings who are technologically savvy but do not have the time or money to buy every new device that hits the market. In their cell phones, they want good functionality more than style, organized contacts and schedules more than a portable office, and a phone small enough to fit in their pockets or purse. The major attraction of the iPhone for these parental users is the ability to combine multiple devices into one device without breaking the budget. For them, the options are limited but not impossible. T-Mobile offers the Nokia 5300 for $79, which includes a music player and surprisingly functional controls. Additionally, it offers Bluetooth syncing with PCs and has many of the basic PDA options such as calendars and task lists. The $99 LG 9400 also is a good option, especially for on-the-go parents who find themselves with occasional downtime while waiting for children. Available through Verizon, it comes with V Cast technology that offers eight television channels, including ESPN, NBC News and Nickelodeon. It also has Bluetooth capabilities, so syncing is possible.
IPhone? Puh-lease! Not everyone will be enamored with the iPhone, especially when they look across the Atlantic for the next cool phones. For those users, patience is a virtue, because eventually there will be at least two other phones that may surpass the iPhone. The HTC Touch includes touchscreen technology, but it looks more like a keyboard-less BlackBerry than an iPhone. It runs Windows Mobile, making it a more attractive option for PC-users wanting Outlook, although the price tag will not be much lower than the iPhone. Currently, it does not have a U.S. carrier, but is expected to be here late this year or early next year. The LG Prada, as its name suggests, may outdo the iPhone in style, and it definitely outdoes it in price ($849). It resembles the iPhone in some ways, especially its minimalist white-on-black color scheme, and it also offers the touch screen. In Europe — where the iPhone is not yet available — this phone has apparently generated iPhone-type buzz. America may have to wait, however, since the Prada does not have technology installed to use the U.S. cell phone system or a U.S. carrier.

MAIN • SCHOLAR• BAFFLE-GAB THESAURUS
As any self-respecting bureaucrat knows, it is bad form indeed to use a single, simple word when six or seven obfuscating ones will do. But where is the Washington phrasemaker to turn if he is hung up for what Horace called "words a foot and a half long"? Simple. Just glance at the Systematic Buzz Phrase Projector, or S.B.P.P.
The S.B.P.P. has aptly obscure origins but appears to come from a Royal Canadian Air Force listing of fuzzy phrases. It was popularized in Washington by Philip Broughton, a U. S.Public Health Service official, who circulated it among civil servants and businessmen. A sort of mini-thesaurus of baffle-gab, it consists of a three-colum list of 30 overused but appropriately portentous words. Whenever a GS-14 or deputy assistant secretary needs an opaque phrase, he need only think of a three digit number-any one will do as well as the next-and select the corresponding "buzz words" from the three columns. For example, 257 produces Systematized logistical projection," which has the ring of absolute authority and means absolutely nothing.

"Baffle-Gab Thesaurus. How to succeed in literary theory without understanding anything. Here is the literary theory version of the "Baffle-Gab Thesaurus." The method is to combine, taking one from Column A and link it with one from Column B. You may, of course, combine two or more selections from Column A before you find an appropriate (or arbitrary) word from Column B. http://theliterarylink.com/baffle.html
"Baffle-Gab Thesaurus."
Permutations of meaning in different fields require at times a potential of reintegration often we "sample" multiple realities over time they can become codified and some what static one might find that condition beyond tolerable where the sense of what is and "what should be" have gone far beyond what might be logically or quantitatively nominative. Often that circumstance will appear to contain no option save the "normal" corse or a red state of panic, or striking out blindly from within one or the other fictive realms of or role play test as in multiple persona matrix game sets. Or there may be non coercive "leaderless" sub sets of persona such as in the straight forward example in western societies wherein elder males game play with all the resources of life which they perceive they have mastered simply to follow the templet of a neo-biblical goat herder god mode and revert to the Saipan need to clear the decks Kull the Hurd or fleece the sheapole in an attempt to out do the capricious nature of death decay birth straggle or of the true or false perception there is no point if "HE" is not in charge which it is self evident factoid all mammals begin borne have breast human kind is "branded" with nipples proof enough yet "Mankind" persist in a blinding furry to prove "His" masculinity and power over life by hoarding plundering warring destroying as many methods as there has ben men to utilize them today the current option of obviating reality is the word. pick 3 words 1 from A, B & C and roiling a 50 sided dice is the easiest way to get random selections construct a sentence with them construct a series of statements or positing a rhetorical question with them in a variant of the occupational stiles or professional parlance for example any variety of sports announcer, good cop bad cop or stumping politician a doctor almost any type of recognizable language stile or Genre film then develop it into a paragraph to set the text aside .f | |
