Community of Immaculate Conception or “Blue Sisters”

Father Felix Zwiardowski founded a new community of sisters in Panna Maria, Texas, in 1873,
called the Community of Immaculate Conception.  He also designed their habit made of blue material, and the
 blessed habits were given to each sister before the entire congregation in the Immaculate Conception of the
 Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Panna Maria.  These sisters were often referred to as the “Blue Sisters”
 because of their habit.  They opened schools in Cestochowa, Meyersville, St. Hedwig, Bandera, and San
Antonio (Dworaczyk, pages 48-49).   After five years, this order of teaching nuns whose original Motherhouse
was in Panna Maria transferred to St. Hedwig.  Two years later, the community was dissolved, and the
 nuns were allowed to enter other congregations if they so desired (Dworaczyk, page 54).

television solutions provider Ensequence,  which found that 55% of drama viewers and 70% of sports viewers
 would like interactive features. Both numbers were up five percentage points from a similar survey conducted
in 2007, researchers said. The new survey of 2000 U.S. adults conducted online also found that 74% of reality
 show viewers wanted to interact.

Interest in interactive advertising also has increased, the survey found, with 58% of viewers saying they would
 request free samples and 43% of viewers saying they would locate a local retailer that carries an advertised
product—up nine percentage points and two percentage points, respectively, from the 2007 survey.

The recent study also found that 17% of television subscribers would “definitely” or “probably” switch service
 providers to get interactive features, suggesting that service providers who offer compelling widgets and
applications may build competitive advantage,

“This study shows that consumer interest in interactivity is substantial and that interactive television presents an
 important strategic opportunity for programmers, advertisers and service providers to increase the value of their
 respective businesses,” said Peter Low, Ensequence president and CEO in the announcement.

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is technology solution for storing CO2 emissions underground
in depleted oil and gas fields or saline formations deep in the earth's sub-surface. BP's team
 has been working on developing the technology for more than a decade, researching how these
techniques can provide a solution for reducing the world's CO2 emissions now, bridging the gap
 until new technologies and alternative energy supplies are found to replace our dependency
on fossil fuels. For CCS to succeed at the scale required to make a difference in terms of
climate change mitigation, governments need to enact policy support for the short to medium
term. Also, as with any emerging technology, it is important for governments and companies to
work on public consultation and communication. In view of BP's role in developing CCS technology,
 Lonelyleap decided to make a documentary that helps provide further explanation about this
complex technology. It follows key members of the original BP CCS team as well as independent
 experts in the field from Princeton University. The film combines integrated 3D/2D animation

 of the milestones in the drive for sustainable energy -
 development of the first practical artificial leaf.
 Speaking here at the 241st National Meeting of the
 American Chemical Society, they described an advanced
 solar cell the size of a poker card that mimics the
 process, called photosynthesis, that green plants use to
 convert sunlight and water into energy.

 "A practical artificial leaf has been one of the Holy
 Grails of science for decades," said Daniel Nocera,
 Ph.D., who led the research team. "We believe we have
 done it. The artificial leaf shows particular promise as
 an inexpensive source of electricity for homes of the
 poor in developing countries. Our goal is to make each
 home its own power station," he said. "One can envision
 villages in India and Africa not long from now
 purchasing an affordable basic power system based on
 this technology."

 The device bears no resemblance to Mother Nature's
 counterparts on oaks, maples and other green plants,
 which scientists have used as the model for their
 efforts to develop this new genre of solar cells. About
 the shape of a poker card but thinner, the device is
 fashioned from silicon, electronics and catalysts,
 substances that accelerate chemical reactions that
 otherwise would not occur, or would run slowly. Placed
 in a single gallon of water in a bright sunlight, the
 device could produce enough electricity to supply a
 house in a developing country with electricity for a
 day, Nocera said. It does so by splitting water into its
 two components, hydrogen and oxygen.

 The hydrogen and oxygen gases would be stored in a fuel
 cell, which uses those two materials to produce
 electricity, located either on top of the house or
 beside it.

 Nocera, who is with the Massachusetts Institute of
 Technology, points out that the "artificial leaf" is not
 a new concept. The first artificial leaf was developed
 more than a decade ago by John Turner of the U.S.
 National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden,
 Colorado. Although highly efficient at carrying out
 photosynthesis, Turner's device was impractical for
 wider use, as it was composed of rare, expensive metals
 and was highly unstable - with a lifespan of barely one
 day.

 Nocera's new leaf overcomes these problems. It is made
 of inexpensive materials that are widely available,
 works under simple conditions and is highly stable. In
 laboratory studies, he showed that an artificial leaf
 prototype could operate continuously for at least 45
 hours without a drop in activity.

 The key to this breakthrough is Nocera's recent
 discovery of several powerful new, inexpensive
 catalysts, made of nickel and cobalt, that are capable
 of efficiently splitting water into its two components,
 hydrogen and oxygen, under simple conditions. Right now,
 Nocera's leaf is about 10 times more efficient at
 carrying out photosynthesis than a natural leaf.
 However, he is optimistic that he can boost the
 efficiency of the artificial leaf much higher in the
 future.

 "Nature is powered by photosynthesis, and I think that
 the future world will be powered by photosynthesis as
 well in the form of this artificial leaf," said Nocera,
 a chemist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in
 Cambridge, Mass.

The hoisting of flags to ensure good fortune is one of the many customs within the nomadic communities of Tibet
 that have changed very little for several thousand years. However, the meaning of this ritual has gradually
evolved from being of militaristic to religious significance. That the original use of flags in Tibet was militaristic is
 illustrated by the term Ru-dar or banner. Ru refers to gathering of nomads before moving on together to fresh
pastures and thus, in an archaic sense this assembly referred to a kind of army. The banners (ru-dar) found in
ancient literature were military flags. The flying of flags began to acquire religious significance in the Bon tradition
 and it may be observed that the actual design of the flags also gradually changed. In the corners of some of these
 flags were images of a tiger, a snow lion, a garuda, and a dragon, and in the center was a horse, around which
was written a Bon mantra and a line which read, "May the horse of good fortune run fast and increase the power
 of life, influence, fortune, wealth, health, and so forth." This writing of mantras on cloth to produce a flag of religious
 significance can be traced to the immaculate g.Yung-drung-gtsang-ma-zhang-z<wbr>hung, a collection of Bonpo
 teachings, which say that when a mantra is wrapped in five colored silk and placed high in the mountains, it will
 provide whoever sees it with the good fortune to become enlightened. If you attach a mantra wrapped in this way
 to the top of a victory banner and pray to it, worship it, and make precious offerings to it, then, according to tradition,
 you will accomplish all your goals. The meaning of this Bon mantra needs further investigation. Traditionally, prayer
flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras will
be blown upward as offerings to their deities and will bring benefits (such as happiness and good health) to all who
 hang them, as well as their families, loved ones, neighbors, and all people throughout the world including even

thats a great idea get rid of the batterys which i imagine costs millions and mabey even billions
and by storing energy in? the hydrogen is the best way to do it to unlike a battery losing its

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet. But part of what you are doing using aluminum platters,
 is plating with aluminum. The acid and current is dissolving aluminum from one platter and platiung
 it onto the other one. Platinum is expensive, but you could always try switching to titanium. Much
 cheaper.

You can actually place wind turbine on the top of your house like an antenna.
That's one good location that has an instant access with the wind. High
locations are usually open air since there's nothing that blocks the wind.
Aside form that, you can also place other turbines anywhere in your house for
 as long as there's no blockage in the said area. It's a good idea to have
wind turbines within your house to be the main source of electricity. It's
 practical and can lessen your bill a lot.

A row of turbines of this size could fit neatly along narrow sections of
unused land in urban areas such as highway and parking lot medians and at
 edges of open fields. They are short enough that most cherry picker trucks
can be used to service them.

There is a better design that lays down flat and catches more wind. It's basically
 a screw on it's side and makes no noise at all. We have had the technology to get

"In summer 1971, Osama and Salem Bin Laden enjoyed a holiday in Sweden with some of their 55 brothers and sisters. Yet within a few years,
the two teenagers' lives had taken stunningly different turns. As the world knows to its cost, Osama embraced Islamic fundamentalism and
30 years later was named the world's most wanted man.

Incredibly, Salem went on to become a business partner of the man who is leading the hunt for his brother. In the 1970s, he and George W Bush
 were founders of the Arbusto Energy oil company in Mr Bush's home state of Texas.

Mr Bush was not long out of Harvard Business School when he started the company in 1978. Salem watched it grow into a hugely successful
business until his death in a microlight plane crash in Texas in 1983.

"As he built his own business empire, Salem Bin Laden had an intriguing relationship with the president-to-be. In 1978, he appointed James Bath,
a close friend of Mr Bush who served with him in the Air National Guard, as his representative in Houston, Texas. It was in that year that Mr Bath invested $50,000 (about £34,000) in Mr Bush's company, Arbusto.

There was even speculation that the money might have been from Salem. In the same year, Mr Bath bought Houston Gulf Airport on behalf of the
Saudi Arabian multimillionaire. Three years ago, Mr Bush said the $50,000 investment in Arbusto was the only financial dealing he had with Mr Bath. Last night a White House spokesman was unavailable for comment.

Bush is not doing a good job of protecting America. It would be far more accurate to say he's doing a good job of destroying it.
The super "patriotic" Bush family have a consistent habit of building up dictators, supplying them with arms, reaping the profits
for themselves and their wealthy friends and then declaring their onetime allies to be the ultimate evil requiring a new war and
the loss of American lives.

GW Bush's grandfathers were key supporters of and Wall Street investment bankers for Adolf Hitler during more than a decade preceding the
U.S. entering WWII. In 1942 the U.S. Congress seized their assets as Nazi fronts under the Trading With the Enemy Act. Former President Bush
 and some of his top his cabinet members were very close allies of Saddam Hussein before the Gulf War, which may have begun when the Bush administration signaled Iraq that an invasion of Kuwait would be tolerated by the U.S.

Under the Reagan-Bush administration (in large part run by former CIA director and Reagan Vice President, George Bush) Usama Bin Laden was financed, armed and had his army of terrorists - "the evil-doers" - trained by the CIA. The wealthy Saudis who are bin Laden's money men are

This is VERY SIGNIFICANT.

We're supposed to be looking for the brother of our president's business partner and friend. I'm I the only one connecting the dots here?

NO ONE CARES??

Furthermore, up until AFTER 9/11, Bush Sr. worked for the Company that the Bin Laden's
owned a huge piece of (Carlyle). They sold their shares because it looked bad after 9/11.
They even said this was why.

So, that's TWO REAL ties to the people who
supposedly killed all those americans and
not one sound from anybody about it.

We go and trash Afghanistan AND Iraq and kill thousands and still no Bin Laden. We've spent BILLIONS
when the closet tie to Bin Laden that we know of is leading the charge.

Bush always alluded that Bin laden and Saddam MIGHT be working together. Well, he and his family ARE
working with Bin Laden's family.

This is SO SICK.

 on the Afghan border and were about to close in to capture or
kill when they were told to not advance any futher.

They THEN watched OUR MILITARY airlift them out of the area. It is not known absoluelty if Osama was with them but,
they thought so and his highest ranking men WERE there and he probably was, too.

We are working WITH Bin Laden.

I've see disinformation that says it was Osama's planes that did it but, I've seen army reports that aren't public that said it

It was just before midnight Nov. 21 when Russian-made Antonov aircraft without markings began landing at the bombed-out
airport of Konduz in northern Afghanistan.

The Northern Alliance's conquest of the Afghan city was still five days away, and a small group of Pakistani military intelligence
 officers and soldiers – all of whom had been serving with the Taliban – waited anxiously on a runway, together with a large
 number of Pakistanis wounded in battle lying on blankets. The planes were coming to take them home.

Around 5 p.m. earlier that day, U.S. bombings of the airport had suddenly stopped. As they waited for the airlift, the Pakistanis
understood the rescue of their men trapped in Konduz had been set up in a silent agreement between their government, or
commanding officers, and the U.S. Two planes were to touch down every night to pick them up until the evacuation was finished.

But as the airlift began, Pakistani air crews and their passengers were astonished to see they had company on the
runways of Konduz – a second fleet of Antonov transports was running a parallel airlift on some mysterious mission.

Military sources have solved the mystery: The planes belonged to Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida.
(once again, our military gives us a plausible explanation for a mystery that isn't true. it was our OWN military)

Here's another spin on the story, note the attitude of US and England:

London: A large number of the 5,000 or so Taliban and Al Qaida troops now battling US forces in Afghanistan were airlifted
 away from Kunduz by Pakistan, says an independent investigative group.

The Asia Pacific Foundation says in a report that India had protested to the US at the time of the airlift from Kunduz but the
 protest was ignored. Russia and China are also reported to have sent information to the US about the airlift.

Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh of the New Yorker magazine had revealed earlier that neither the US nor Britain has
responded to the concerns expressed. (because we were behind it)

The report says the fighters who included many Pakistanis were secretly airlifted by Pakistan during the Northern Alliance siege
 of Kunduz, and that most of these have regrouped and rearmed in Pakistan.

The strong protests of the Northern Alliance have also been ignored, and “what has irked its various components is that they
were prevented from capturing Kunduz for three vital days, and also from capturing key Taliban and Al Qaida fighters who could
 have provided invaluable information,” the report says.

Washington had denied media reports of the airlift but it was noted that the “denial” by US secretary of state Donald Rumsfeld
was equivocal and exposed what some believe to have been a difference of opinion between the US defence department and
the state department, with the latter taking a more lenient view of the Pakistani request to go ahead with the airlift, the report says.

Indian intelligence agencies, according to Hersh, are convinced that many of the airlifted
fighters have infiltrated into Kashmir.

An Indian military adviser was quoted by Hersh as saying that when the airlift began “we knew
within minutes,” and that the airlift had rescued not only members of the Pakistani military but
Al Qaida fighters as well.

This is shocking to say the least. But it's not surprising. It seems that all or most politicians who make it to the level of the White House
 are discovered to be in some scandal or other but this is atrocious. How does this compare to Clinton and Lewinsky?

It makes you wonder what American's patriotism is really based on. Waving and flying the flag and singing a national athem means
what and to whom? Baseball, hot dogs and mom's apple pie? Who are the REAL Americans?

Oh, it compares most WONDERFULLY, my dear.

Clinton set a precedent that we desperately need right now.
That blowjob just might save the world. I mean this.

He was impeached for the most trivial of things right? Nope.

He was impeached because he LIED.

We have COUNTLESS LIES documented from *ush. And, already, MAJOR players, real heavyweights are asking
 for investigations and impeachment.

If Clinton can go for lying about a helmet polishing, THIS GUY is toast.

The real americans are the people this country was built for and by, the elite. The rest of us have been tennent
 that pay rent and have to live by their rules while we pay off their properties and they get rich off of us.

They sell us the idea that we are all americans. But, you ain't benefitting from belonging to a club and they're hurting
you and not letting you enjoy the priviledges of membership then, you DO NOT belong to that club. No matter WHAT
you tell people or have been told or want to believe.

However, this can always be reversed if we spread knowledge around, since it's POWER.
