Prehistoric discovery disproves Bible Thursday, 14 January 2010 17:11 Acharya S Contributing Writers - Acharya S Yoav Arbel (Ariel Schalit/AP Photo) Every so often, Israeli archaeologists make an announcement that others run with in attempts to prove the Bible a history book. Few serious scientists and non-believing scholars today view the Bible as an infallible history textbook, but that fact will not stop the faithful from trying to fit each piece of pottery, every building block found in Israel, into the biblical picture.
In this way, we have been subjected to a raucous parade of "artifacts" in recent years, such as the so-called James Ossuary with a forged inscription; the "Jesus Family Tomb," which was useless for biblical purposes; the fake ivory pomegranate supposedly from Solomon's temple, and the bogus "Yoash/ Jehoash inscription," which purportedly proved the temple's existence once and for all. Even more recently, a scrap of what is claimed to be the oldest Hebrew writing was used to "prove" the Bible correct, even though it does nothing of the sort. This sort of holy forgery and propaganda mill has been in existence almost since the beginning, with a long list of bogus relics and misinterpreted finds.
Another genuine find demonstrating early human occupation in Israel in reality disproves the Bible, at least in its interpreted timeline of depicting the world as having been created in 4004 BCE, per Bishop Ussher's calculations:
Two weeks ago, Israeli archaeologists uncovered the 8,000-year-old remains of a prehistoric structure nestled away in the upscale neighborhood of Ramat Aviv. The cornerstone of the ancient building, which lies on a construction site for exclusive apartments, long precedes the time of Abraham and the rest of the Bible's figures.
This 8,000-year-old discovery shows that there were humans in Israel two thousand years before the world was created, according to many Bible literalists! I'm aware that there are increasing number of people who are aware of the above facts and that being the case the question remains who is Jesus? He is a european copy of a spiritual concept that the kemetic africans introduced to the world. Way back in the times now called pre-history (meaning time before his story begins, the story he loves to leave out) Africans were the colonizers of the world. Things got a little heated on FBN’s Money Rocks last night while talking about the post office. After GOP strategist Jack Burkman suggested the government organization consisted of unskilled Nigerians, former NY Sen. Al D’Amato called this argument “racist” and started dropping BS’s – uncensored.
I’m still not sure why the post office segment got everyone so fired up, but it definitely did. Burkman said “most of these guys working in the post office should be driving cabs,” and that they are “like a thing for ceremonial and memorial waste.” At first, D’Amato held back. “Jack could have done well without all the name calling,” he said, although agreeing “it probably should be privatized.”
But after Burkman reiterated his ‘unskilled Nigerians’ argument, D’Amato went in for the kill. “You are a nasty racist,” he said. “That’s a bunch of bullshit. And you should be ashamed of yourself and have your mouth washed out. What the hell are you talking about?” After Burkman tried interrupting: “Shut up, I listened to your racist bullshit.” Check out the video below for one bonus ‘bullshit’ comment! Before Charles left California at seventeen to pursue Art and other interests, he won a scholarship in Art, to the Chouinard Art Engineering Design Institute.He also studied Art at Pasadena City College with the Master Calligrapher, Shiro Ikegauwa. Having painted both day and night throughout the years on the West Coast, interrupted only by an acting job 'Skin Of Our Teeth' at the Mission Theater with Sam Shepard, he made his move to New York. Shepard, the playwright, actor and musician, was a high-school friend who had transplanted to New York as well, and they roomed together as artists, collaborating on breakthrough theater projects. Three members of the New York Six Gallery on St. Marks Place ( Macs Mc Aree, Lucio Pozzi and Arnie Magneson ) discovered Charles and gave him his first one-man show, consisting of Neo-Surrealist canvases, water colorand electro-kenetic assemblage. Overflowing crowds of enthusiastic poets,critics and artists attended the show opening. In 1968 Charles' painting ,"One Second in the Mind of His Honor , MayorD.," a Pop cartoon of exploded brains and guts, was chosen for the "Chicago Show" at the Richard Feigen Gallery in Chicago . During the time of the Poor Peoples' Campaign in Washington, D.C., Charles was working for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference . Charles conceived and initiated a benefit auction sale exhibition to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., by persuading Rene d'Hainoncourt, director of MoMA at the time, with the support and assistance of Messrs. Michael Findlay , Carroll Janis and Stanley Levenson of SCLC. He organized a panel of noted American authors, James Baldwin , Allan Ginsburg , Ralph Ellison, Robert Penn Warren and Amiri Imamu Baraka ,and produced the subsequent film, "A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 1969." It was shot by Simon Nucturne at MoMA, and aired in association with Don Harper,editor,and Kit Lukas, executive producer at Channel 13. During the late 1960s and into the 1970s Charles continued to paint as well as write plays. The play, "Cheap Trick," was directed by Lee Kissman ,and premiered in 1970 at La Mama ETC. to a standing-room-only audience for its entire run . Ellen Stewart said, "Never before or ever since have I seen such crowds coming to see any play; masses in the streets...and around the block like it was the movies." In 1971 "Out Of The Death Cart", which Charles also directed, was produced by Joseph Papp at the Public Theater . The musical play" The Atlantic Crossing" was the premiere production at Theater for the New City . In 1972, MoMA commissioned Charles' painting, "Time Seed." It was featured as the premium card of the year in their Christmas catalogue. Charles received additional exposure at MoMA's penthouse exhibition curated by Alexandra Anderson and mounted by the Art Lending Service . Through his association with Kurt Dempster's Ensemble Studio Theater in the mid-seventies, Charles received a playwright-in-residence at Johnson State College in Vermont with John Ford Noonan. During the last twenty years, many of his theatrical pieces have been performed by Dadanewyork, and The Living Theatre in NYC. Additionally, The Living Theatre has performed Charles' work on tour in Europe. Influenced by his prior association with Jonas Mekas' Film Makers Cinematheque, Charles renewed an interest in documentary film making. In 1980, he produced a film for the United Church of Christ on the "Wilmington Ten," featuring Rev. Ben Chaves with the New York video artist Cary Fisher . "I like TV and take almost any opportunity to work with it. I even put it in my plays, paintings and sculptures. In 1980, Charles also developed "Inscape," a video animated computer parody of his mandala watercolor paintings, also creating the musical score. His work has appeared on book jackets and album covers, and Charles has also enjoyed numerous group and solo exhibitions , including Allan Stone Gallery in New York City . His watercolors were the subject of a lecture by Mr. Stone at Adolphus Gustavus College in Minnesota and at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island .The Museum of Natural History: The Stereoscopic Society Show, Behind the Green Door Gallery, Theater for the New City Gallery, A.I.R., and the State University of New York, Brooklyn Gallery all recently featured Charles' artwork."
